introducing JUSTtouch operatives
now that school is back in session, National Holistic Institute (NHI), partners again with tranquilityRx. Kampol will supervise approved students in our JUSTtouch community outreach, including our developing program for veterans. we are proud to introduce Christina Le and Max French.
Christina is pursuing her certification as a massage therapist at the National Holistic Institute. She believes that massage has the power to transform lives.
Through her own personal journey of healing, she has found that body work can facilitate feelings of safety and groundedness that allow for the release of trauma. At the very least, body work can provide an individual with a bit of relaxation and relief from their physical and/or mental pain, which can improve their mood, outlook and interactions with others. Prior to massage she was a high school biology teacher. She loved being in a role that allowed her to empower students to question and understand the natural world around them. She believes that lens can be taken into massage as every session is an opportunity to learn about the client and address their needs. She feels extremely grateful to be a part of the work that JusTouch is doing. At the core of this work is the belief that we are all interconnected and that the healing of another is inextricable from our own. "I would like my life to be a statement of love and compassion - and where it isn't, that is where my work lies." - Ram Dass
Max is an aspiring medical massage therapist studying at National Holistic Institute.
He believes massage can be a powerful tool for healing muscles in a way that other medical practices can’t, and hopes to elevate the status of massage to mainstream audiences through his work. Muscles help our bodies adapt to pain and stress everyday , and by looking at how this impacts our health holistically, we can start to fight against these stressors and preserve longevity. In 2020 he suffered multiple muscular injuries that left him in chronic pain. Traditional methods of treatment proved ineffective, so he decided to go to school to learn how to help himself. Within months his pain drastically reduced, and his passion for massage therapy was ignited.
He started his massage journey when he was 4 years old walking on his aunt’s back, and now at 21 he is now excited to use his education to advance his skillset and help people heal.
please let us know how we can help!
