whether we consider ourselves lonely or not, many of us will benefit from making the effort to grow our connections with other people. advisories from America’s top doctor are typically reserved for public health challenges that require clinical attention. this is the first time we have seen the platform used to highlight the issue of loneliness. “… social connection is part of what fuels us, what allows us to show up in our lives and in our communities as whole people,” shares Dr Vivek Murthy, US Surgeon General.


“right now, millions of people are telling us through their stories and statistics that their tank is running on empty when it comes to social connection,” he said. he considers this a public health priority, "... on par with tobacco, with substance use disorders, with obesity and other issues that we know profoundly impacted people’s lives.”

week one: we cover the warrior way--how to show up and be present-- to act rather than react. we show you how to minimize distractions to help focus your power of presence.


week two: we cover the healer way--how to pay attention to what has heart and meaning--and to honour natural cycles of life. we show ways to stay aligned even when unsure about the situation.


week three: we cover the visionary way--to tell the truth without blame or judgment-- to create positive change in the world, and to bring aspirations into being. we show ways to maintain peace and purpose even in the face of conflict.


week four: we cover the teacher way--to be open rather than attached to outcome--to listen with an open mind and heart, and to share wisdom and experience with others. we show ways to receive and translate your insights into shared experience and understanding.
